SEO Strategy and Guest Posts
As a lot of People where depending on Guest Posts to increase their Google SERP ratings they would have been shocked to find out that Google was infact penalizing a lot of Guest posts enbaled networks in the web. This was also announced by Matt cutts of Google, and as a result other people reacted negatively.
What i would like to inform you is that i had an SEO Strategy that never depended on Guest Posts for its effectiveness as the SEO Strategy was geared towards those who are starting out and well as they say beginners would have found it very hard to create Guest Posts in some of the networks today.
Which is why in reaction to what Matt Cutts had announced i was rather amazed and realised finally that the Guys at google where never our enemy infact they are the underdog's best friend, and this attitude if adopted by a lot of beginners in the world of SEO, then they would benefit largely.
Having worked with SEO in recent years you would realize that a lot of Service oriented businesses out there that can offer SEO Services to their clients none of them was thinking about the guy without a budget, and then i thought what if i create an SEO Guide aimed at the little guy and explain exaclty what it is tha they need to do. in such a way that they can do it themselves to save money. well my timing was quiet perfect as when i finished and publish my book right at the hour The Greek networks went down, and then other followed as a result of an action by Google penalising link exchamnge networks or more specifically Guest Posts networks that where operating in the country.
at first i did not know what happened, but then later i learned what happened. and i was not happy, i was taken back to the day i use to think google was against everyone and that made me realised that a lot of in-experienced Website owners would give up if they are affected in any way.
