Now claiming authorship in this way allows google to follow your articles where ever they are written and then rate you according to all the content you write over time and thereby improving your Authority on a certain subject if you are always writing articles that people like on a certain subject, note this does not happen over night you cannot have any strategy on this except writing very good content.

What improves your authority is when people start showing interest in your content and one good place for people to indicate this is through Google+ and the Google Search engines so make sure that your articles are also shown in those two places.

Publishing your articles in your website and making sure it is visible in Google+ is done by putting the Google+ Share Button on your pages, and then making sure that you share the content once you are finished writing and thsi also allows other visitors to do the same, so once this continues your authority on the subject improves and then after a while your articles are better rated initial than articles by an unknown Author.

As a lot of People where depending on Guest Posts to increase their Google SERP ratings they would have been shocked to find out that Google was infact penalizing a lot of Guest posts enbaled networks in the web. This was also announced by Matt cutts of Google, and as a result other people reacted negatively.

What i would like to inform you is that i had an SEO Strategy that never depended on Guest Posts for its effectiveness as the SEO Strategy was geared towards those who are starting out and well as they say beginners would have found it very hard to create Guest Posts in some of the networks today.

Which is why in reaction to what Matt Cutts had announced i was rather amazed and realised finally that the Guys at google where never our enemy infact they are the underdog's best friend, and this attitude if adopted by a lot of beginners in the world of SEO, then they would benefit largely.

(All they are doing is trying to find the information you are looking for to you and display this information in a useful manner based on your preferences).

So with that in mind you will be able to see what you need to do in order to rate your website on the first page, Build a useful website that people will find interesting and want to use it everyday. this will mean that everyday this people will go to search engines trying to find your website and search engines will take note of this and show your website more often to this people.
